The Coordination Office is a state-wide institution dedicated to promoting gender equity in science and research, as well as supporting gender-related research in Saxony-Anhalt: 

As the executive office of the State Conference of Gender Equity Officers at universities and university hospitals (lakog),the coordinator of the FEM POWER network, and a state- and nationwide cooperation partner, we actively shape gender-equity policy in higher education across Saxony-Anhalt. We offer gender-sensitive training and career guidance - most notably throughMeCoSa, our mentoring and coaching programme for early-career female researchers in STEM. With targeted initiatives such as the annual State-wide Gender Research Day, we also foster networking, visibility and recognition for gender-related research and its scholars.
